MyFundedFutures copy trading: what the rules say and how to set it up

Rules checked: 2026-10-06. MyFundedFutures can change its rules at any time. Read the current version on MFFU's own help center before you connect a copier.

This guide covers MyFundedFutures copy trading in two parts: what MyFundedFutures (MFFU) says about copy trading on its own help center, quoted with the page date, and how to set up a Master and follower accounts in TradeCloner. TradeCloner is a cloud-based futures trade copier for prop firm traders: you trade one Master account and its trades are copied in real time to your follower accounts. We have confirmed that MyFundedFutures accounts work with TradeCloner end to end.

What MyFundedFutures says about copy trading

"MyFunded Futures allows copy trading across all account types."

"External copy trading solutions can also be used with your accounts."

What MFFU's article also says

The same article says more than the two lines above, and you should read all of it. In MFFU's own words:

  • On Tradovate's built-in copier: "Tradovate users can utilize the built-in group copier feature."
  • On a named partner: "Tradesyncer is our preferred trade copier partner and is fully compatible with all MFFU accounts." TradeCloner is a separate product and is not the partner MFFU names.
  • On liability: "MyFunded Futures expressly disclaims any and all liability arising from the use of copy trading software or services."
  • On support: "MyFunded Futures is not obligated to provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, or account resets for any issues stemming from copy trading activities."
  • On compliance: "Users remain solely responsible for ensuring their copy trading activities comply with all applicable terms of service."

Put plainly, using a copier is your decision and your responsibility. Test with one contract first and keep watching your accounts.

Which platform your MFFU accounts use

MFFU's article Overview of Supported Platforms at MFFU (updated Aug 24, 2026) lists: NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, Volumetrica, DeepChart/DeepDom and ATAS.

MFFU's Tradovate: Login Instructions (updated Aug 24, 2026) tells you to sign in to Tradovate and "Enter your MyFundedFutures credentials, which can be found in your MFFU dashboard". MFFU's NinjaTrader: Login Instructions (updated Aug 24, 2026) also uses the credentials from your MFFU dashboard.

TradeCloner connects through four platforms: Tradovate, NinjaTrader (through the Tradovate login), ProjectX and Rithmic. From MFFU's list, Tradovate and NinjaTrader connect directly, using the steps below. Quantower and ATAS generally run on a Rithmic account underneath elsewhere, but MFFU's own platforms page does not say which gateway it uses for its Quantower or ATAS accounts, so this guide does not cover them with confidence; if yours is Rithmic-based, try Rithmic in Add Connection. TradeCloner does not connect through Volumetrica or DeepChart/DeepDom. The MFFU pages we read do not mention Rithmic or ProjectX for MFFU accounts beyond this.

Connect your MFFU accounts

Pick the option that matches how you log in to your MFFU accounts.

Option A: Tradovate

  1. Find your login in your MFFU dashboard, as MFFU's Tradovate instructions describe.
  2. In TradeCloner, go to Connections, then Add Connection, and choose Tradovate.
  3. Sign in on Tradovate's page with your MFFU credentials and click Authorize.
  4. Back in TradeCloner, check that each MFFU account you expect is listed and the connection shows Healthy.

Option B: NinjaTrader

  1. In TradeCloner, go to Connections, then Add Connection, and choose NinjaTrader.
  2. TradeCloner sends you through the Tradovate sign-in. Sign in with the credentials from your MFFU dashboard and click Authorize.
  3. Check that your accounts are listed and the connection shows Healthy.

Set up a Master and followers

  1. Go to Groups, then + Add Group, and enter a Group Name.
  2. Pick your Master Account: the MFFU account you will trade.
  3. Select your Follower Accounts.
  4. Click Create & Activate. You can have one active copy group at a time.
  5. Place a 1-contract test trade on the Master and check the Filled tab in the Console.

The full walkthrough, with common errors, is in how to copy trades between Tradovate accounts.

Sizing and protection

  • Multiplier or fixed size, per follower. Each follower copies the Master's quantity times a multiplier from 1 to 50, or an exact contract count.
  • Max Contracts. A per-follower cap on the most contracts that follower may hold.
  • Cross Order. Copy a full-size contract as its micro, or the reverse: NQ/MNQ, ES/MES, YM/MYM, RTY/M2K, GC/MGC, CL/MCL, SI/SIL, HG/MHG. It changes the contract; the count still comes from the follower's sizing. See mini to micro trade copier.
  • Follower Protection. When the Master goes flat, followers still holding the copied position are closed.
  • Daily profit target and daily loss limit. Set per account. A follower that reaches either one is flattened and locked. More in prop firm risk management for copied accounts.

These are your own controls. They do not replace MFFU's rules or its dashboard.
