Using Rithmic accounts in copy groups
Rithmic accounts work the same as Tradovate and ProjectX accounts inside copy groups. Once your Rithmic connection is healthy, its accounts are selectable as master (leader) or follower.
Setting up a copy group with Rithmic
- Go to Groups > + Add Group
- Pick a Rithmic account as the Master Account, or mix with accounts from other brokers
- Select Rithmic accounts (or other brokers) as Follower Accounts
- Set each follower's multiplier
- Click Create & Activate
Rithmic as master
TradeCloner receives a Rithmic master's fills over Rithmic's real-time connection. When a fill arrives, TradeCloner copies it to every follower, regardless of which broker each follower is on.
Rithmic as follower
Rithmic accounts can follow a master on any supported broker. TradeCloner places orders on Rithmic over the same connection that reports its fills.
Cross-broker copying
Mixing brokers inside a group is supported:
| Master | Followers |
|---|---|
| Rithmic | Tradovate and/or Rithmic |
| Tradovate | Rithmic and/or Tradovate |
| Rithmic | ProjectX |
Each follower places orders on its own broker. The symbol must exist on both sides. For example, MNQ is available on Tradovate, ProjectX, and Rithmic.
Position sizing
Per-follower multipliers (1x to 50x), Fixed sizing and Max Contracts work exactly the same as with Tradovate. See Ratios & Sizing and Copy Settings.
Follower Protection
Follower Protection triggers on any supported broker, including Rithmic. When a Rithmic master goes flat, TradeCloner sends closing market orders to any follower still open. See Follower Protection.
Cross Order (NQ ↔ MNQ, ES ↔ MES, and the rest) works on Rithmic followers the same way it does on Tradovate.
TradingView webhooks need a Tradovate or NinjaTrader master. A Rithmic account can follow a webhook-driven master, but cannot be the master a webhook trades on.
