What is Rithmic?
Rithmic is a futures trading infrastructure provider used by many prop firms as their underlying data and execution gateway. TradeCloner connects to it with a username and password.
Which prop firms use Rithmic?
- Apex Trader Funding
- Tradeify
- TradeDay
- MyFundedFutures (MFFU)
- Earn2Trade
- Bulenox
- TopstepTrader
- BluSky Trading
- TickTickTrader
Step 1: Find your Rithmic credentials
Your Rithmic credentials are a separate username and password issued by your prop firm. They are not the same as your prop firm portal login.
See Finding Your Rithmic Credentials at Each Prop Firm for where to look inside each firm's dashboard.
Step 2: Open the Rithmic form
Go to Connections > Add Connection and select Rithmic.
Step 3: Enter credentials
- Username: your Rithmic login
- Password: your Rithmic password
Step 4: Choose environment
- Paper: demo, evaluation, and challenge accounts
- Live: funded and payout accounts
Most prop firm evaluation accounts live on Paper. See Rithmic Paper vs Live Environment if unsure.
Step 5: Choose your system
Each prop firm has its own Rithmic system. Pick yours from the searchable list, for example Apex for an Apex account. A firm-issued account only logs in on its own firm's system. If your firm is not in the list, type its exact system name.
Step 6: Click Connect
Click Connect. TradeCloner logs in to Rithmic, pulls your account list, and begins syncing. Your accounts appear on the Connections page within a few seconds.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid credentials": wrong username or password, or you used your prop firm portal login instead of your Rithmic credentials. "Permission denied": the username and password are right but the system is wrong. Pick your prop firm's own system rather than a generic Rithmic one. "Too many sessions": Rithmic limits simultaneous logins per user. Log out of any other platform using the same Rithmic account (R|Trader Pro, Quantower, MotiveWave, etc.) and try again.More fixes are in Rithmic Connection Troubleshooting.
Passwords are encrypted at rest. TradeCloner never echoes them back to the client or logs them in plaintext.
