How follower size multipliers and sizing modes work
Updated September 22, 2026
A follower's multiplier decides how many contracts it copies relative to the master. It's set independently for every follower. There is no group-wide ratio.
New copy group
Multiplier
An integer from 1x to 50x, per follower:
- 1x. Same quantity as the master
- 2x. Double the master's quantity
- Any whole number up to 50x
The copied quantity is master quantity × multiplier, always rounded to at least 1 contract.
Sizing mode
Each follower can instead use Fixed sizing. Trade an exact contract count on every copy regardless of what the master trades. Ratio mode (the default) scales with the master; Fixed mode does not.
Advanced risk modes (Balance Ratio / Equity Ratio) scale a follower's size by followerBalance / leaderBalance, useful when a follower account is a different size than the master.
Max Contracts
An optional per-follower cap on the largest position that follower may ever hold. Protects against prop-firm position limits even if the multiplier would otherwise size a copy larger.
All of these are set per follower in Groups → the follower row in your copy group.
