Prop Guardian
Track your prop-firm evaluation rules and get warned before you breach them
Updated September 22, 2026
Prop Guardian
Prop Guardian watches the evaluation accounts you add against your prop firm's own rules. Drawdown, profit target, minimum trading days and any consistency rule. Using your live account P&L, so you can see your headroom on every rule as you trade.Prop Guardian is the scoreboard, not the referee, by default it warns you as you approach a breach, it does not touch your trades. It is separate from Risk Management, which enforces your own daily loss/profit limits by flattening and locking an account.
Adding an evaluation
Open Prop Guardian (currently reached at /guardian. It isn't on the main sidebar yet) and click Add Evaluation:
- Pick a firm + plan preset to auto-fill account size, drawdown type/limit, profit target and minimum trading days, or enter your own numbers
- Choose trailing vs static drawdown. This matters a lot, the two behave completely differently at the same dollar value
- Link the account you're trading the evaluation on
What each card shows
- Progress toward the profit target, alongside trading days completed
- Drawdown headroom (a trailing drawdown tightens after a good day, since it follows your equity high)
- How close your best single day is to a consistency-rule cap, where the programme has one
Auto-flatten (optional)
Each evaluation can optionally enable auto-flatten, which closes the linked account automatically once your usage of a rule crosses a configured threshold. It's off by default, without it, Prop Guardian only warns.
The firm's own dashboard is always the authority. Prop Guardian tracks what you configured here; if it disagrees with the firm, trust the firm.
